A Complimentary Consultation: May be done over the phone but preferably in person at your home or a neutral place of your choosing. This visit will give us a chance to meet & talk allowing you the opportunity to decide if my services are right for you. This is best done within your home so that I may be familiar with where you live and determine the length of time it takes to get there ensuring the best support.
Two Prenatal Visits (33 & 36 wks): During the first visit we will discuss your desires, fears, and expectations of pregnancy and labor as well as what my role as the doula will be. The Doula Client Contract will be signed and $100 deposit paid to hold your "Guess Date", if not done so already. During the second prenatal visit we can work on your "Birth Plan" and further discuss any additional questions or concerns you may have. We will also practice positions and/or comfort measures during labor. It is preferred that you attend the Childbirth Education Classes that I offer to better prepare you and your partner for the upcoming birth.
Ongoing Multi-media Support: This is whatever you need it to be! I will be available for support via: phone, cell, email, Facebook Chat, etc...
Back-up Doula: In the rare incidence that I may be unavailable for your birth there will be a back-up doula to support you. If I know in advance then a meeting can be scheduled for you & I to sit done with the back-up doula for introductions.
Lending Library: I have an ever growing library of DVD's, CD's, & books that you may borrow at any time (subject to availability).
Continuous Support Throughout Labor & Delivery: I can assist you in the hospital, birth center, or your home. As well as if you are delivering via cesarean. I will also remain with you after the birth of your child for a couple hours to assist you with any needs you may have including breastfeeding, infant, & postpartum care.
One In-home Postpartum Visit: At this visit we will discuss your birth experience and any questions or concerns you may be having.

Childbirth Education:
Childbirth Education Classes are a 6 week group series focusing on the anatomy of the female body, physiological birth, nutrition and prenatal fitness, as well as many other topics.
Total Cost: $250 if not a client
$100 reduced client rate
Or you may opt for in-home personal childbirth preparation classes. Please contact me for further details.

I offer FREE labor doula support for fetal demise/stillbirths. As a previous RN Case Manager with Hope Hospice I have been trained in supporting families through loss. Please share this information with your friends & loved ones.
